Warhead Lethality Estimator

Description

Lethality of a warhead is defined as its capacity to damage the target. The damage is done either by overpressure from explosion or impacts of warhead fragments or due to direct penetration of warhead into target. In order to configure a missile, it is important to first define the warhead and therefore an estimate of its lethality is important. The software app uses some of the empirical correlations to estimate kinetic energy of fragments, penetration depth and overpressure at distance from explosion. The inputs required for the calculations are explosive weight, fragment mass, energy in explosives and penetrator length, mass / density.
